TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) Waterproof Membrane

Scope of Application

Widely used for industrial and civil building roofing waterproofing, especially suitable for lightweight steel structure roofs, green roofs, and projects with high environmental and weathering requirements.

Construction Process
  • Substrate Preparation: Surface must be flat, firm, clean, and dry.

  • Membrane Installation: Mechanical fixing, full-bonding, or loose-laid with weighted seam methods can be used.

  • Seam Welding: Use automatic hot-air welding machine to weld overlaps, ensuring continuous, uniform, and strong seams.

  • Detail Treatment: Reinforce areas such as inside/outside corners and gutters.

Transport & Storage

Store in a ventilated place, protected from sunlight and rain. Storage temperature should not exceed 45℃.

Max stacking height: 5 layers when flat; single layer when upright. Avoid contact with acids, alkalis, oils, or organic solvents.

Shelf life: 1 year under normal storage conditions. Transport carefully to prevent tilting or horizontal compression; cover if necessary.

Precautions

Substrate temperature should not be below 5℃; avoid installation in rain, snow, or wind above level 5.

Clean overlap areas thoroughly before welding and adjust equipment according to site temperature. Handle rolls gently to avoid edge damage.
